@Reaver
^ That was from the training mission, silly. They got a lot of attribute improvements because they all got to make a lot of attacks against the unmoving targets.
Yeah, i know. That got me shocked while watching it 2 days ago. XD

That was so damn cool for me to see. :)

edit:
let's wait for Otto to do more episodes or maybe make some nice or mean replies on this thread (if he's good and busy); you heard what i mean. :-\

MERGE MY POST WITH PREVIOUS POST PLEASE BEFORE READING! I WANNA SAY SOMETHING NICE BUT COOL TO OTTO ON THERE WILL QUICK. don't anger me. ;D

--- if you insist; posts merged - Solarius Scorch ---
@Solarius Scorch. Thanks! I was needing that to excite Otto for me watching his coolies! ;)
@Otto/ohartenstein23
You're the man, Otto! ;)

keep it up while i watch EP 18 and more, keep it up! :) +100

edit:
speaking of which, don't Commissars specialize with pistols and swords (e.g chainswords?) or something else instead of these?  ???

just to be honest

In the latest episode of this LP, I give a preview of some new script code I've been working on to model crew-served weapon emplacements. I'd like to hear your opinions on the idea, and whether or not you'd like to see this replace some of the IG's heavy weapons like the heavy bolter, mounted lascannon, and mounted autocannon. The handheld variants will probably remain but get the extra TU penalty for overweight so that they can be used by Ogryn and particularly beefy Guardsmen.

Also, once I've cleaned up the script slightly, I'll be posting a standalone mod of the turret I previewed for testing it out in "vanilla" UFO.

Edit: Here's the topic for the standalone mod.

With the completion of the latest requisitions, the regiment can now promote some of their guardsmen to officers! We have three billets available, so let me know if you'd either like your guardsman to be promoted, or if you'd like a completely new officer to be hired. I'll hand them out on a first come, first serve basis.

bulletdesigner is already a Commissar, becoming an Imperial Guard Officer would be a demotion.

Really!? I don't see myself as officer material. :P

But Brave Reaver does as she is told.

Don't worry, you won't be an officer unless you volunteer. I can just recruit generic officers if nobody else is interested.

((I wanted to specifiy: it was a very kind offer and I'm flattered. Brave Reaver is sometimes too shy but might just need a kick to become greater. She just won't admit her own strengths sometimes.))

I'd say take anyone else if they volunteer, but you can promote Brave Reaver if you think she'd be a good officer.

Also I nominate Yataka Shimaoka's character if he has one (I'm not sure)((if not, you should getcherself an officer)), and also Bullet Designer.

Yataka is Gabrielle Maximus, and the both of you can be officers if nobody volunteers before the next episode.

bulletdesigner is a Commissar already.

Heh, looks like we might all four be high rank soon. =)

Also I nominate Starving Poet. Couldn't remember the name earlier. I am terrible with names. :P
