Many things like these are quite subjective.
I find the "better" SFX from the first post extremely unpleasant and annoying, definitely a LOT worse than the original.

The rest is OK-ish.

First mod was made for personal use, as i don't like vanilla sounds much. Perhaps someone may find them useful

All "improvements" by mods is subjective. It's a matter of personal preference. And possibility to choose the way you like to play.

I was answering to HumanTraitor, who said "Mods like these are mandatory"... they're definitely not, they are as you say "personal preference".

Well yeah, personal taste is a factor, of course. I never intended anything else. However, unlike vanilla and X-Files, there was missing a better sound effect for the interface, in my opinion at least.

The high contrast shock may not be mandatory, but it looks like something many people will find preferable. Maybe it can get added as a basic option in a future version?

I like the music, mhm...
The "better" sounds, however... OUCH. My ears. It's even worse than vanilla sounds.
