What does "OpenXCom: Unlimited Waypoints" do?
« on: October 19, 2017, 07:15:09 pm »
I was looking through the Mods tab in the options menu and noticed this interesting looking one:

Quote
OpenXCom: Unlimited Waypoints
Version 1.0 by the OpenXcom team.
Allows unlimited waypoints, Aliens will be limited by difficulty.

Before I activate it could someone please tell me exactly what it does?

And if possible could you also give me an idea of the difference in the limit that will be placed on aliens depending on difficulty?

It's for the "blaster launcher" weapon (and Disruptor Pulse launcher, in TFTD)
By default you can place 10 waypoints, like in the original game, and this option lets you forget this limit.

Good thing I asked, I thought maybe it was related to the size or length of UFO routes on the Geoscape.  :-[

Even without installing a mod directly the amount of togglable content included in OpenXcom's Mods section is impressive.

Infinite blaster launcher waypoints is tempting but I think I'll leave it off for now. . .

Thank you for the info. ^_^
