I really enjoyed your sucessful mission against the sectoid labship. remember to keep an eye on the soldiers not being submitting to alien psi attacks. those will be really valuable. And this was not a infiltration mission, but a abduction mission.
Abduction missions offer you a great opportunity to capture Alien Medics, which are needed to unlock the psi amp later. which will be a great weapon against early and mid game enemies in the lategame.
lategame enemies have a very low weakness against psi attacks. ethereals will be totally immun against them, even thou ethereal soldier do have a very low suspectability against psi panic.
the lategame mutons can be mindcontrolled but you need 90+ psi str and skill, going for panic is a much safer option.
i am sorry to not have released the new version as i promised, i just had to many things to do (got caught up playing some stellaris, but got frustrated about the slowlyness)
one word of advise store up some small launcher and both ammo types, elerium bombs and stun bombs. small launcher does have a arcing shot in the mod and will replace your grenade launcher. it is actually one of the first alien weapons you will be able to unlock and use. great artillery support.
elerium bombs can also later be used to easily adept them for a hovertank as ammo. having a excellent terrainclearing weapon. and really research corpses or you do not get medikits.
