Wands and Scaling

Do these really scale exclusively with VooDoo Power, not at all considering the Mastery level? Is Mastery therefore useless except for the VooDoo rod itself (yes I'm aware skill increases VD defense slightly)?

Training, and therefore VooDoo mastery is necessary to use the ghost outfit and dagger, the destructor outfit, and a couple of other weapons, especially those from researching to Doom demons.

Would be nice to have these weapons scale with Mastery so they retain utility.

Depends on the type of the wand. The basic ones scale with Power. Middle tier with Power^2. Hi-end ones with Mastery. And it's not only wands, there are other weapon types dependant on that (0.99A will widen this selection).

Alright, cool, though it would be nice if VooDoo skill had _some_ bearing on the earlier wands.

Either way I really like this expansion of psionics; it's fun and largely feels diverse and balanced.

Damn I love burning everything to death with the firebolt wands and watching the AI panic while alight; so much fun!

I just wish that trees would actually get incinerated; they don't even defoliate :(

Speaking of these wands, they may seem like they'd be great against shit like tanks but they aren't. It took upwards of 15 shots from 58-60/40 VD STR/Skill to put down a basic Humanist tank. Excellent against Stormtroopers and Power Armoured troops, terrible against heavily armoured vehicles.

I find the Ghost Outfit working very good against Tank units. 2 Ghost-Dagger Hits usually take them down.
Is this intended? :)
