Dumb question, how do you invoke the new feature to hire veteran agents?

I just upgraded my OXCE and X-Com Files, and when I go to PURCHASE/RECRUIT I don't see any new relevant options (just "Agent", like before).

I hired 20 new agents and when they arrived they were all Rookies.  Here are their stats: https://imgur.com/a/6Om4tik

Do I just trust they have higher stats than they would have under the old version?  Or is there supposed to be some other indicator?

I did appreciate that 90 PsiStr and 60 Bravery on Leifur (too bad this was just a test run...)

You have to have researched "Requesting Veteran Agents".

After you have done that, each month - if the score of the previous month was good enough - you start getting "requisition rights" (you will be notified of this) which correspond to the ability to hire that agent by manufacturing the claim for that agent. These are scattered over the month.

I am working on adding a new late game mission to address the possibly lack of available MiB Commanders, if RNG is being naughty.

I wonder if there should be a conclusion to the osiron arc. Although this might split opinions because obtaining osiron boxes can be useful even after you've otherwise milked them off for any research they could provide.

I started wondering because there is no way to prevent Osiron from establishing the golden academy tower, it's just up to 5 % chance after a certain point. OTOH, terminating Black Lotus will prevent BL from establishing it.

I think there shouldn't be; you just can't eliminate crime completely. Even if you arrest or eliminate every member, new people will take their place.

Because Osiron is inevitable in this sociopolitical system. :)

I suppose it might also be intentional that completing the Cult of Apocalypse arc, the spawns still continue (communion, outpost, tower and lair of apocalypse, even earlier ones such as shady tavern, ...)..?

Just an observation, not really a bug. Especially when compared to the really cool new images (probably created with the help of AI), some of the older ones strike out as inconsistent with the style. I'm thinking of cartoonish pics out of He-Man, like the one in Vampire Castle and some others, if I recall, in follow the Zombies.

Yeah, since you can't really destroy the Cult (like with Osiron), only break their wings. At least, as of now.

I am aware, although what exactly looks out of place is subjective.
Which ones you find out of place, exactly? Besides the Vampire Castle background.

Pretty much, just make sure you don't have different versions of the same mod in the mods folder if you're using zip files and if you're extracting them into the mod folder, delete or move out the old folders of XCF before putting in the new ones. This way you guarantee that you won't get deprecated files of the older version mixed in the new one.
