Mod idea/Unit - Thing from another world

Just something that crossed my mind: Why not use a slightly modified Silacoid graphic (make it flesh-colored and stick some eyes and arms/limbs in it) and give the new unit invulnerability to AP/melee weapons and make it highly vulnerable to incendiary....

The alien also should convert XCom-units to a clone of themselves when they touch it.....  :)

Just like in the 1982 Thing movie with Russell.....

If you want I have the original music theme in ogg format. Would fit nice in a special mission, now that custom mission music works

You will have to use a normalize setting of ~2.0 in the music.rul as it is somewhat too quiet compared to other Xcom tracks.

But Incendiary weapons suck. I don't want to load out my troops with otherwise useless weapons just in case they encounter that one specific enemy.

It would still be vulnerable to 3 other damage types: HE, Laser, and Plasma, so I don't see a big problem.

Against the later aliens yes, not they are quite useful on the early game
