XG weapons manufacturing ?

I just researched the XG weapons, but I can not find how to manufacture them. At least, they do not appear in the gun category in any of my base. Am I looking in the wrong category or do they need some particular facility built ?

You have to research and build a gauss battery
XG Weapons are gauss weapons and high tec weapons needs a weapon test platform, which is a defence platform

Oh I see, just like some laser weapons require laser defense to be built.
