cant get it to work

hi i have downloaded openxcom_git_master_2015_12_12_1712 extracted in a new folder. added tftd files and ufo files . i click openxcom the icon with the blue alien and it does nothing. the loading circle on my mouse cursor activated but nothing happens. i have even left it for 10-20 mins anyone helpme pls  :'(

I'm having a similar problem but with the UFO. I've tried both the installer and manually moving the files, reinstalling UFO on steam, deleting everything and retrying it. Nothing seems to work, OpenXcom doesn't even open.

If you have antivirus running, try to turn it off and see if it helps.
