Disable the label after soldiers names?
« on: November 30, 2015, 04:57:01 pm »
I'm currently playing Openxcom with UFO redux installed... and I've noticed that now every soldier has a dash and a string of letters after the name.

Something like

John Doe/HAC.

I assume this is some kind of built-in Statstrings (which is disabled in the mod configuration btw). But I find it extremely annoying (I prefer to label my interesting soldiers by hand and discard the rest as fodder).  I don't know if this happened because of Redux or because of some Nightly change. But... is there any way to change it?

Same here, it's kinda "hardcoded" in the mod. But eventually this thread may be moved in UFO Redux subforum

Go to My Documents/OpenXCom/mods/UFO Redux/Ruleset and delete the Omega_Statstrings.rul file.

That ruleset wasnt supposed to be included on the .zip file, it was an error on my part.
