I saw in the nightly builds stuff about TFTD. Is there anyway to get TFTD running in openxcom at the moment? Wondering if there was something to extract the content, or just how to get it working.

Its in progress.  Warboy is working on it.
It is not possible to play OpenTftd yet, but it will be coming at some point.

Yeah, i tried putting in TFTD textures into xcom. It kinda worked, then crashes after about 5 minutes.

you need a ruleset to go with it, as yet there isn't one publicly available, as it is still very much a work in progress.

Any chance we'd get some sort public beta, at least with "New Battle" only, since battlescape seems much closer to being finished? To help test it of course ::)

i'm holding off on that until at least the map generation algorithms are in place.
