There is a way to deactivate, yes deactivate grenades by right-clicking the active grenade. I think that might become really valuable if you make a mistake and have a primed grenade on the floor :)

I WISH this was possible during battle.....so far I've only been able to deactivate grenades during prebattle or base equip stage.

Hold up, so it's not able to be de-activated in battle? I gotta test this, brb.

EDIT: Gah, he was right. Not even the latest nightly is able to de-activate primed grenades during actual battle. Forget what I said earlier. :P

Oh.... Sheeeeeeiiiiiiiii......

That surprise is surprising without a doubt.

I didn't expect to be needed so soon, nor die that early. If I am going to die that is... with that surprise it is totally likely. At least some of us are given the decency of proxie grenades, right?

You didn't see that coming!!!!, i saw it a mile away, well maybe it was a couple of Km, and now all those soldiers, what will happen to them!!!

Also maybe you have in air (mid air or whatever is called) transfer turned on?? maybe that will help just in case :)

I don't have it turned on... and yeah... it wont help.  All our good gear is out there on the SkyRanger, or enroute to UfoPaedia.  XD

Gonna get brutal back at OpenXcom.org.  Brutal.

Cheers, Ivan :D

Hum... Maybe now we know why the mod portal is down: It was hosted at OpenXCom.org!

I don't think I'm there, so good luck to all of you fighting for the main base!

Nope, actually the mod portal is at OpenXcom.com. ;)

Looks like the mods are safe but the forums might be in jeopardy!

R.I.P. First line of defence.

On the bright side it's 8+4/16+4 vs 13+1/15+1! (Remember that scout tank?)

Also, Explosives tend to do less damage on cyberdisks, but the combined power of a proxie plus a HE has put it at low health, so you almost got it!

.....I bet I'm gonna die next episode :P

Yeah, we actually did better than I expected in this episode.  Up to the point where we suicided two soldiers on the disc and failed to bring it down.  I know it can be done, but its gonna be brutal. XD

Cheers, Ivan :D

Although explosives do less damage on Cyberdiscs, they do hit all four tiles of it, meaning overall they do much more damage than to a 1 tile unit. It is possible to destroy a Cyberdisc with a direct hit from a Large Rocket, so it should be possible with a High Explosive (and if that fails, a few lower calibre explosives should do it).

You're doing pretty well :) Just have to throw those HE pack from a little bit further! Yet another bad thing with cyberdiscs is that it's really difficult to know where they are looking, so it's hard to avoid reaction fire :/

Have you thought of setting the entrance on fire with some incendiary grenades? If you manage to get stuff to catch fire as they cross it, that's a little bit less hp to take off before they die.. (and it won't destroy items like proxy grenades)
