Mapview noob question
« on: August 19, 2014, 04:46:59 am »
Hello, have tried a few times now to make my own maps on mapview and have watched Luke83's (much props)  tutorial on youtube but i am not sure where to direct the paths when it asks you for Xcom and TFTD locations.

Have tried the game folders and the terrain folders. I know it is said somewhere before and i think i followed those instructions but received same error (maybe).

I get an exception error and it says it cannot find paths. Below is error message. I know this is prob very noob question and i just have over looked something stupid but i have to start somewhere. Running Windows 7.

Thank you

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

You need to point at your original X-COM game folder, not the OpenXcom game folder (though OpenXcom\data might also work).
