[UFOPEADIA] Page for standard Jumpsuit
« on: June 01, 2014, 04:55:38 pm »
This tiny ruleset adds an Ufopeadia page with the standard jumpsuit.

You can learn that the vanilla jumpsuit seems to have problems to withstand acid.

Edit: removed unecessary lines from ruleset

Edit2: added translations

You have this fragment:

Code: [Select]
    files:
      55: Resources/clownagent/Weapons/SniperRifle/Sounds/fire.wav

I assume this is a leftover from another mod?

It's a nice mod to have though. I'll try it out.

Yes you're right, I'll fix it in the first post.

Thanks!

On my part, let me suggest translation fix/new Polish texts:

Code: [Select]
extraStrings:
  - type: en-GB
    strings:
STR_X-COM_JUMPSUIT: The standard X-Com jumpsuit offers only basic protection, but guarantees a maximum of mobility. It is issued automatically to all X-Com operatives, who did not qualify for advanced armour.
  - type: en-US
    strings:
STR_X-COM_JUMPSUIT: The standard X-Com jumpsuit offers only basic protection, but guarantees a maximum of mobility. It is issued automatically to all X-Com operatives, who did not qualify for advanced armor.
  - type: pl-PL
    strings:
STR_X-COM_JUMPSUIT: Standardowy mundur X-Comu zapewnia tylko podstawową ochronę, lecz gwarantuje maksymalną mobilność. Jest on przydzielany automatycznie wszystkim agentom X-Comu, którym nie wydano bardziej zaawansowanych pancerzy.

Small fix again (Just a proposition):
Code: [Select]
  - type: pl-PL
    strings:
STR_X-COM_JUMPSUIT: Standardowy kombinezon X-COM-u zapewnia tylko podstawową ochronę, lecz gwarantuje maksymalną mobilność. Jest on przydzielany automatycznie wszystkim żołnierzom X-COM-u, którym nie wydano bardziej zaawansowanych pancerzy.

I like your "kombinezon" instead of "mundur" (uniform), but on the other hand I think "agent" sounds better in this context than "żołnierz" (soldier):

Code: [Select]
  - type: pl-PL
    strings:
STR_X-COM_JUMPSUIT: Standardowy kombinezon X-COM-u zapewnia tylko podstawową ochronę, lecz gwarantuje maksymalną mobilność. Jest on przydzielany automatycznie wszystkim agentom X-COM-u, którym nie wydano bardziej zaawansowanych pancerzy.
I simply like to remind the player sometimes that X-Com is an "agency" with "operatives". :P

In the Polish version of XCOM: Enemy Unknown and XCOM: Enemy Within, Officer Bradford generally said "żołnierz" instead of "agent". That's why I wrote "żołnierz" in my proposition :P

Really? That's boring. :P
Well, it's a matter of taste really. I certainly won't be difficult about this :)
