Can this new functionality be used with explosives? Like making AC-HE shoot three explosions during an auto shot instead of three distinct projectiles.

The camera has some trouble showing where the pellets hit, but I don't see how this could be avoided.
Apart from that, the weapon works very well. I only regret it overlaps the functionality of several of the original weapons, so it would probably work better as part of a completely new human inventory (replacing all AP weapons at once)

mod updated; i added alloy shells, replacing slugs, as they were largely un-necessary. i also added an upgraded shotgun with auto shot, and the capacity to fire elerium shells. these additions must be researched and manufactured, and cannot be purchased directly.

I just killed 2 aliens in one shot with my breacher!

I'm playing on Superhuman as usual, using Luke's UFO designs mod, and I sent in two breachers(Shotgun close-quarters specialists) to clear the first room. I take out a sectoid who was facing the other way ><. End turn, another sectoid walks in, but doesn't shoot ><. Next turn, One of my breacher sprints into the next room, the control room, spots a third sectoid behind the corner, so I move him in close to obliterate it, suddenly a second sectoid behind the sectoid fires 2 shots, so freakin' close but misses both plasma shots! I only have enough for one snap shot, I take the shot. The spread was able to kill both sectoids! Win win win win :)

all it's missing is an extra 2 spaces at the beginning of every line after "strings:"
