The site Openxcom.com still has that Error 523 host is unreachable, usually if I try to go deeper into the site, such as to search for a particular mod.

Your site was more offline than online in 2017... so your "monitoring" either doesn't work or doesn't exist.

Also, the downloads still don't work... since 2 years... I have reported this 3 times already in this thread, now I am reporting for the 4th time!!!

If you haven't noticed, all (and I mean ALL) established modders already abandoned your site and are publishing their mods elsewhere.
Your reputation is already below absolute zero and still falling.

Please scroll up users have reported the upload function is working. If you have an issue then please send us a message and we will look into it. You can easily verify that from the new uploads users have posted on the site. Otherwise this is unhelpful as we have been told the upload is now working and you have provided no information in the issue you are experiencing.

I gave you a link to a mod, which I uploaded a few days ago, which cannot be downloaded. What else do you need??
(You can easily verify this, I provided links to everything... several times already).

PS: I can reproduce this issue at will.... if you want I can spam your portal with a 100 non-downloadable mods

Many of the mods download just fine, but others do not. I just went in and tested a few and the third one I tried (Vanilla Rebalanced) didn't work: http://www.openxcom.com/mod/vanilla-rebalanced

If you click "Download Mod" you get the message "THERE WAS AN ERROR The page you requested was not found. Please try again."

Also in all mods in the bottom comments section it reads, "COMMENTICS Sorry, there is a database problem. Please check back shortly. Thanks."

4/11/2017  File Won't download from Mod Site

I posted a collection of files here, and noticed that two were constantly at 0 downloads.  I looked these over, and removed one that has been deprecated.  The other: "Expanded VIPs" I deleted the existing file and uploaded a new version.  When I click on Download I get the following message:

THERE WAS AN ERROR
The page you requested was not found. Please try again.

Could it be that the file download links that are generated are including some characters that are causing issues?  Note the forward slash : E"/"Y8Wwef .  I also noticed a "+" symbol in Meridian's latest example of buggy files.  (http://www.openxcom.com/mod/test-4/download/0z+equ0w)

If this is the problem I imagine that it should be possible to reduce the possible characters for link generation to alphanumeric.

Edit:  Subsequently, I re-uploaded the file until I got a link that works, and I deleted the previous version (unfortunately without thinking it would be good to keep it up for trouble-shooting.)
