It would be nice to have an alternative firing mode for the plasma weapons, which uses up maybe half the clip but then fires a plasma bolt which generates an explosion/fire. This would give the aliens more versatility and allowing them to have a "fire" weapon in their repertoire.


For the Trekkies, also lasers could have a second mode, which generates a small amount of stun damage:
"Set lasers to stun! We need this one alive!" ;D

No joke, i think its suppose to be the xcom High council, it makes sense as there was a Xcom version of Civ2 on  fantasy worlds

I don't get the joke... :\
It's a parody of the extremely cheesy Civ2 advisor council (Military, Science, Trade, Foreign, Attitude), which advise you in various matters (usually in complete opposition to the others) on running your civ. And yeah Attitude guy is always Elvis. :P

I feel terrible, Civ 2 is my favourite Civ game (Alpha Centauri actually higher but not technically in civ series) and I totally missed the reference.... :(
