[DONE][Suggestion] Quick spend all TUs for everyone hotkey
« on: January 18, 2025, 09:54:49 pm »
Two situations I encounter often:

1. Enemies have sniper/spotter. I want to avoid reaction firing because shooting one random enemy isn't worth having 10 enemies grenade me from across the map.
2. I want to capture a specific target. I want to avoid reaction firing and not kill them

In either of these situations I need to clear everyone's TUs to avoid the unwanted reaction firing. Which gets laborious when I'm skipping 10-20 turns waiting for an enemy to show up. With 14 soldiers that means repeating tab+delete a minimum of 140 times per mission. A hotkey to remove TUs for the whole group would be helpful, I'd suggest shift+delete as the default.

You're playing the wrong game dude.
Seriously.
I will implement your hotkey, but if this is really what you do when playing OpenXcom, I would strongly suggest stop playing OpenXcom and play something else.
For both our mental health sake.

I don't think there's anything unusual about waiting for a specific target to show up? Especially with mods that force you to do a lot of captures of specific targets, accidentally shooting them can mean not having an opportunity to capture for months. I didn't mean to give the impression that this was every mission though.

Thanks.
