FreeBSD port
« on: May 15, 2013, 03:35:31 am »
Just finished $subj.
Works fine (although I didn't playtest it heavily yet, but starting a mission and killing some aliens does work), no changes were needed except for https://github.com/SupSuper/OpenXcom/pull/478.
I've used src/Makefile.simple to build.

I guess this can now be added to Downloads section of the website:

Thanks for the great project!

Hi! I got a problems with sound
Were solved by changing "mute:" to false and manually setting SDL_AUDIODRIVER to dsp before starting X-Com.
So instead of calling "openxcom" I call "SDL_AUDIODRIVER=dsp openxcom"
And more you know!

Hope it would help following FreeBSD users.
