Hi,

I've searched the forum, but I didn't found the soultion to my problem. Whenever i change the resolution from 640 up tp 1080 nothing happens. I'v istalled a fresh copy of xcom, then the openxcom, copyed the files to data folder and still the resolution in game doesn't change. help anyone ?

Are you playing the game windowed or fullscreen? If you're playing fullscreen, you probably won't notice the difference. OpenXcom is based off an old 320x200 DOS game, it isn't flexible, you won't see more by increasing the resolution, it'll just resize more.

If you really really want, you can change the baseXresolution. This will let you see more in the Geoscape/Battlescape, but it'll also cause various UI/performance problems.

you can also try enabling different filters, they're post-process, so they WILL be affected by resolution changes.
