MIDI files player that sounds just like in game?
« on: September 08, 2024, 11:55:53 am »
Hi guys,

Is there a player that can play those midi files from the SOUND folder so they sound exactly like in the game? Windows uses some other instruments and they sound awful. Basically I'd like the intro music as a wav or mp3 but during the intro there are these other sound effects that spoil it.

You can always mute the sound effects in OpenXcom, or turn off sound in DOSBox.

I've tried muting sounds in options but it doesn't affect the intro, it still has all the SFX.
