Sudden Crash after months end in enemy unknown without mods

Did you try to cheat in money?

i actually tried to bring back certain countries to contract by editing the save manually. But that was also 3 in game months ago. DidnÄt work though.

There is no "good" savegame editor.
Or in other words, all savegame editors are unofficial hobby projects, unaffiliated with openxcom development team.
Use at own risk.

Having said that, if you must, just use a plain text editor.
IMO it is safer than using any savegame editor.

And of course, whatever you do, make a backup first.

could you explain to me how to edit the savegamefile`?  All i want is to edit the countries which left the project and make them rejoin.
Was looking all over but couldn't find anything and i am afraid to mess up my savegame again.

In your save you have to do a search for the snippet.

I got it, the fundings must be also edited in the country section. Edit 0 to any decent number

I was trying to edit soldiers stats, but it wouldn't show after on Battlemap, any solution?
