Did i download the right Version (?)

I downloaded the version from the download post in this forum:

However when I install it the splash screen says
Xpirates VJ14
Extended 5.4.1  v 2019-04-29.

It should be  v.L2 21-May-2020 Blood And Skulls - OXCE upgrade to 6.5.1 21-May-2020

If i had to guess - you still have J14 installed alongside the new L2 and ran the old file by mistake.

Otherwise something went wrong when you installed the new version over the old one.

Personally, when a new version comes out, i just delete the old one and do a fresh install (moving the required XCOM files from a steam XCOM install instead from the old xpiratez install). Foolproof that way.

Fresh install is always the recommended method. only things to keep are saves, and user config.
