Do you mean to change a national flag? Of course. Just click on it in the game. To change his/her face press M while inventory screen on the base.

I didn't know that about the flags. How do I view their inventories at the base? I tried pushing M in the inventory screen right before a mission, but it didn't do anything.

Go to "equip craft" - "equipment" - "inventory". It works only there. When you are already on mission you cannot change anything.

just to be less dumb at the end of the day, it may be cool if we had the nationality with the flag to learn the flags of the world.
