Question about HWPs

Hello, I have an issue with HWP, I have already researched couple tank types, but after I manufacture them, I cant get them into any transport vehicle (skymarshall for example), I dont see them in Equipment  (where I would expect them) or Crew. Do I miss some particular tech to actually use them or is my safe somehow screwed?

They're armours, why would they be in equipment?

I guess I expected them to work same as in og xcom. I cant equip them as armor either.

I can't think of a reason. Maybe you don't have the necessary space in the craft? Or the craft doesn't allow big units?

Try one of the small armours for the AIs, like the medical drone.

Taking a stab in the dark here, but OP might be missing AI units altogether and is trying to equip the tank chassis with a soldier.

nah, I had scout drones, but I totally missed the part where you actually equip armor on that. Brain fart of sorts. Consider it solved
