Having Trouble With Resolution

Im having trouble getting 1920x1080 To work with both OpenXcom And Open Xcom extended
First Image Is With Letter Boxing On And The second Is with it Off

It seems that the Geoscape UI Is not properly scaling with the resolution

On lower resolutions Like 800x600 it works fine but id rather use my native resolution.
Also when running some lower resolutions the colour pallete turns a muted and gray.
I have installed the Universal patch and that didnt seem to fix the problem

Edit: i used to play this mod on a 1366x768 laptop and it didnt have any of these problems.

It might be helpful if you can tell a bit more about you computer ... (operating system, perhaps even videocard and monitor).

From the looks of your screenshot it might also be that  your system is claiming to operate on 1920, while in reality it uses a slighly lower resolution.

Could you also attach the log file (it might be helpful).

Thanks i tried the settings but the Geoscape Ui is still getting cut off

Can you try changing 125% to 100% in the windows scaling setting?
Just to see if it has any effect...

Usually that setting doesnt effect games but it did in this case

If you still need the scaling to be 125% (for other apps).

Could you try the following approach:
* RMB on the openxcom.exe to open it's properties.
* Go to compatibility tab
* Look for a setting called High DPI Scaling override
   - Enable this setting (checkbox on)
   - Set it to application

This could work as well.

Unfortunately depending on the exact windows10 version both the name and location can vary slightly. So the above steps are not exact.
