Error updating Nightlies (Solve)

Thanks for the work of this great game.

OS: Win 7 Professional Service Pack 1

I can initially install the game and start. The problem is to install the latest updates (Nightlies). Worked to openxcom_git_master_2016_03_23_0208.zip before the program worked, from here it gives the error. There is no active mod

It may be something very simple, but not see it.

Try to delete old COMMON and STANDART folders in your game directory then extract files and folders from latest nightly archive.

and also you can try to delete options.cfg at your Documents\OpenXcom folder at drive C
or try just change in notepad this strings in options.cfg at your Documents\OpenXcom folder at drive C
  useOpenGL: true
  checkOpenGLErrors: false
  useOpenGLSmoothing: true

which video card and video driver you use at your PC ?

 Also try to update DirectX

G5-freemen Thanks for the suggestions. Then I report the steps executed

1) Delete folders and Standar Common, before upgrading to the latest version and remove options.cfg: Error 0cx0000005

2) Edit options.cfg

Initial values:

useOpenGL: false
checkOpenGLErrors: false
useOpenGLShader: Shaders / Raw.OpenGL.shader
vSyncForOpenGL: true
useOpenGLSmoothing: true

Modified values:

useOpenGL: true
checkOpenGLErrors: false
useOpenGLShader: Shaders / Raw.OpenGL.shader
vSyncForOpenGL: true
useOpenGLSmoothing: true

Result: Error 0cx0000005

3) Check Direct x: using Dxdiag: DirectX 11 No update is available with the system update

4) Video Card:
Nvidia Geforce 7300 Gt
Controller: NVD3DUMX.DLL, NVD3DUM
Version: 9.18.13.908 18/02/15
Controller Model: WDDM 1.0

Install OpenXcom 2 more machines, to verify that there were some corrupt file and the game runs smoothly ... ??

On 1) Did you also reinstalled the original files from the original (e.g. the UFO and TFTD directories) ?

Besides that .. the original error complains during SDL_mixer. You do have working sound on your computer?

Fixed: delete the original files from Xcom and copy them back and let the program work ? !!!!

Just FYI, happened to me too.
I have deleted options.cfg and it started working again.

Try to update videodriver (Nvidia forceware) & maybe not bad idea to update all drivers (i usually use simple program - DriverPack Online, it download latest drivers from internet), especially audio driver.
Also i can pack to archive my working OpenXCom, send it to you and you can try to run it. If it will not work - problems with your software or OS.

I said it's working for me... just saying for others that if it happens, they should try deleting options.cfg. That should help.

Check that the folder where the original files UFO only there are 10 folders. Generally all files that do not serve this later (unless they have been placed on purpose for some purpose). To my careless step unzipped me an update Nightlies there and play and not work.
