Mouse becomes erratic with FMP

When we enabled the start with advanced  weopons mod of FMP the mouse became really erratic,  slow and unresponsive, any ideas?

As the creator of the FMP, I really don't know what you mean by advanced weapons. :) Perhaps you mean Advanced Firearms?

Anyway, I don't know how research could influence engine performance.
