Is music supposed to loop?

I've just found out if you wait on the main menu screen, music stops playing when it ends. Is it supposed to loop or is the way it is?

It didn't loop in the original. Some people feel very torn about this, so if you want you can set "musicAlwaysLoop" to "true" in your options.cfg file.
