Rejection reason:
it is not possible to do this with the current implementation/concept of xcom vehicles... (and a completely new implementation is beyond/outside the scope of OXCE)
If you mod a HWP with inventory (ex. a servitor in 40k) it's inventory is not accessible in craft outfit and not saved between missions, so you have to equip it manually every time you start a mission. I wonder if this can be fixed?

No, this cannot be done. HWPs do not exist as individual objects in the geoscape, they are created before a mission and destroyed after a mission.
Only soldiers continue existing in the geoscape. You can make a new soldier type if you want and make them look like HWPs.

Thank you. But instead, I would give them built-in weapons. They are robots and should remain so - no names, graves, rooms, etc.
