Only the highest Laboratory Level?

There are different types/levels of laboratorie's.

Do I need all of them in my base or can I destroy the "old" laboratory and just keep the "new" (and highest level) in the base?

Looking in the wiki there are the "Services" : "Std. lab", "Improv. Lab" and "Advanced Lab".

It is the same question with the different intelligence centers.

There are no laboratory "levels" so to speak. Different research topics require different base functions (i.e. "Services"). Intelligence centers - for all intents and purposes - are laboratories (as they provide lab space) and both intelligence centers provide the same base functions (the only difference is the radar coverage).

You can also only build on type of laboratory in each base (in case you haven't noticed yet) - so dismantling them would be pointless for another reason: it reduces your laboratory space.
