Maximised windowed?
« on: January 06, 2013, 02:05:26 pm »
Would it be possible to have a maximised windowed option that hides the OS taskbar? While the fullscreen option is great, if I want to be able to alt-tab or use my second monitor, I need to quit the game if I'm using it. Admittedly it's a low-impact feature and thus by no means a priority if it's at all difficult to do, but it'd probably be a much more convenient way to play full-screen.

(This option would have to lock you into your desktop resolution, too, I guess)

That would be a good option for me too, if possible. Should let me fullscreen the game and still record properly :)

while i agree we should offer the option, here is a temporary solution:

set the window size to the same as your native screen resolution, but -26 on the vertical scale (to account for the windows bar across the top). for example, i set mine to 1920x1054

get a program called "always on top maker" and run it, also add it to your windows startup programs, because it's useful as hell.

now position your window on the center of the screen, and as high as possible.

now hit Ctrl+Alt+T to force it to "always on top" mode

you are now in psuedo-fullscreen-windowed mode.
