Julian Gollop goes indie to make a Chaos remake
« on: November 11, 2012, 11:01:26 pm »
Julian Gollop, one of the X-Com co-creators, has left Ubisoft and gone back to pursuing his own projects, starting with remaking one of his older games: Chaos: The Battle of Wizards, a 1985 ZX Spectrum game where various players (wizards) fought each other on random maps with various creatures and spells in a turn-based fashion.

You can find more details on his new blog: https://www.gollopgames.com/

Great to see him going independant again. Oh, and he's using Unity3D game engine :) I started fiddling with that one myself recently.

That's going to be pretty cool. Thanks for the link to his blog - I couldn't find that the other day when I looked

The creator of X-COM is at it again yay! I always wondered if he ever wanted to create a proper remake of X-COM. I hope he does someday and use modern 2D graphics like Xenonauts. I don't mind 3D though.
