Cult of CampDragon Mod .... baby steps

 Making my first baby steps toward what i hope will be a fun and 'different' Mod. 


 The Premise :  You are a Cult trying to bring back the old gods through sermon, sacrifice, and fear. All the while X-com is trying to stop you. Did I also mention there is an alien invasion going on?  Alien technology doesn't interest you nor will advancing human tech, no, all the answers you need are provided by the Old Ones, through study and sacrifice to the book the Necronomicon.




 Have added my nightly to this first page for those of you willing to help a poor modder who could use the help with his work, or if you are just curious on what I have got done so far. It is playable but missing many many features. Bare bones at this moment. ANY and all comments or suggestions will be much appreciated.

  Cult of CampDragon Change Log
   
0.01:
Added Cultists.
Added Robe Armor.
Removed Soldiers.
Started Changes of Language file to represent the concept of Mod.

0.011:
Bug fix.
Added Bone Armor.

0.012   Added Old Ones and made them current Armor compatible.
Added none Armor for both existing soldier types.

0.013 Added XCOM alien race, new missions for that race, they have complete use of thier assets (Crafts, Armor, Weapons).
Moved timeline back a year.
Altered Regular alien missions slightly.
Currently not well balanced, but will need to wait till I have Arcane tech implemented.

Hope you have the Patience and good motivation to finish this mod, and we at oxc might not seem like it, always supports members and modders alike

Yes, that is the point behind the mod.  You will be against the Aliens AND X-COM.  Thank You again for liking my sprite. still having issues getting it to work right now. There is a lot I'm trying to do, and I'm getting snagged early and often.  lol . But having fun grinding away regardless.   Debating wether to bring "Magic" into the game or not, uncertain how that would fly in this community, since this game has more of a SCI-FI bent to it.

New Inventory avatar. Game keeps crashing with my sprites though, think my colors are wrong but unsure how to correctly fix.

Palette wouldn't crash the game. Check if your declared image dimensions are correct.

Yes they do!  ;D   Wait till you see the bone armor.

Have just posted my first playable nightly.  It Is very bare bones at moment, and will be for awhile with all my crazy plans. But if curious  please check it out, you catch something wrong, or dislike something let me know, better to catch it early!

  Updated the Nightly to v 0.012.

    Added the Old Ones. Have fun messing around with them till I lock them behind Sacrifices.

Greetings, CampDragon!

I ask your permision to use this mod in my own mod, UNEXCOM. As an enemy race, of course. I really like your concept and I think It would be interesting fighting an evil cult in the middle of the Cold War. ;D

Looking forward for more updates of this mod!

So sorry for late reply. Major real life issues have hit me past 2 years, from death of my mother, to relocating to new town.  Yes you can use my creatures in your mod.

To everyone else, I'm back, give me time to figure out where i left off, what assets i still have, and what I need to remake. But I''m excited to get back to work on this old project.
