Mission Script: Recon, New Alien Race, Crash
« on: March 12, 2020, 08:40:29 pm »
Hello! Either at the very end of the month, or at the very beginning of the next month, the game crashed. Can someone tell me only by the error message what's the matter? I can no longer repeat this crush, so there is no log. I make a submond to the FMP. I didn't do any Mission script, but I changed the MIB race. What does this "recon" do? I found this in the Mission script of a standard game. For what reason could this conflict with my new race? In the "new battle" mode, the races work fine.

You have a typo somewhere... unless that special character after STR_MIB_P is intended... I assume it isn't.

I can’t even imagine where this typo could be. But could it be that this crash is due to the fact that I changed the members of the race? In place of terrorists, I put units whose rank is not a terrorist. Is this permissible or should their rank be a terrorist?

The error can be anywhere.

If you upload the mod, I can find it for you... otherwise we're just wasting time (to say it bluntly).

PS: and if you have a save before the crash, I can find the error even much sooner.

Ok, as I catch this crash again, I’ll upload everything here.
