That would be really useful!

I can see the potential for hundreds of different items being created from that code addition.

I've also tried to crack laser weapons yesterday to add req clip ammo
 - type: STR_LASER_PISTOL
   
    clipSize: 0
    compatibleAmmo:
      - STR_LASER_CLIP


Now laser weapon need normal clip ammo and weapon is useless without it... Of course it;s something different that you wanted :)
