Noticed something surprising, not sure if it's intended or a bug?

Hi,

I'm playing TFTD using the latest git version (revision bb92855). I just noticed that in the battlescape minimap screen you can actually see some details of the part of the map that was not yet seen by XCom troops (should be hidden in the fog of war).

I'm attaching two screenshots. In fow_1.png you can see where the alien sub is. In fow_2.png you can even see the the inside of the alien craft.

That's surprising, I never noticed that before. Is this intended?

Recently I reported an issue, but it turned out that it was intended behavior... So I thought this time I'll ask on the forum before making a new bug report.
