Text Corruption Glitch?

All the text looks wrong, is there something wrong? It's just a vanilla, 1.0 install. Has anyone else had this problem?

Ive spent the past week trying to upgrade to the nightly so i can play Final Mod Pack and only played 1.0 because i was sick of tinkering with it.

Sorry, I'm just really infuriated getting the nightly to work. Really really frustrated, it was difficult to not go full shitpost mode.
