PCK exporting question
« on: March 01, 2015, 08:35:40 pm »
Hi,
Is there a tool to export sprite sheets from pck in a clean way into png/bmp files?
By clean i mean no extra pixels. I tried PCKView, but if used to save a whole bitmap, it saves the files as they appear in the viewer, and each sprite is divided from another one by one pixel lines. I would need sprites to be exactly one next to another. I could swear I saw an option to turn those lines off, and then i could save the files as i wanted, but i can't find it anymore. I used some older version of PCKView, then i lost it, and the newer versions either doesnt have a way to turn those lines off, or i don't know how to find it.
I tried BB's tools as well, but that "pck2png" app throws a lot of stuff into the resulting image, like sprite number and some weird frame around the picture, which i havent found how to turn off either.
I'd appreciate help on this.

https://falkooxc2.pythonanywhere.com/spriteconvert

Don't forget to add the .TAB file as well if you're converting PCK files.
