Once I'm done with the next version of the XAE, I'll mess around with the UFOPaedia image of a chryssalid to see if I can make something decent.

Along with this perhaps make armor actually protect a soldier from Chryssalid attacks. Seems like they push eggs through a power suit just as easily as through bare skin.

Yup! That was discussed already. It is not currently possible in OpenXCom, but I think it is in OpenXCom Extended. Hopefully, this feature, like many others, will make it into regular OpenXCom once TFTD is going well.

Yeah, Chryssalid proof armor is possible in OXCE and also acts as acts as the switch to make 1 sqaure HWPs zombie proof.
