All of the talk about creating a hybrid game and it's technical difficulties made me think of alternative solutions to creating a sense of continuity. Importing your save from EU to TFTD.
In my mind this would only need to take the ranking soldiers of X-Com and place them in your TFTD game with maybe some kind of aging penalty (for a sort of balancing I guess?).
Anyway, I think this is a good idea that no one (I saw) was mentioning, so I thought I'd make a topic for it. Do you guys think this is a good idea? What would you like to see in a feature such as this?
