Can Continue The Game After Score Game Over (Ironman)

On 31 april 1999 --> 1 may 1999, I got game over because of bad score. Then tried to reload, and TA DA Success and nothing happened it was on 1 may 1999. The money and situation didn't changed. I can continue the game like #$%@ing cheater.

I played on ironman mode veteran difficulty.

is this intentional or a bug?

I wonder what happen if i get game over after losing base defense mission and then tried to load the save file? Please check that as well.

I remember that this was possible in the original game, too. It was considered an exploit/bug. Not sure about OXC, though.

In original ironman is not exist. so if u game over just load from previous saves.

Hmmm this is a tricky one, new XCOM has a final stat screen when that happens, but we don't. Should we just automatically delete the save? Save right before game over?

Delete the save file? Yeah why not. Just like new X-COM.

Add a flag to the save file: "Gameover = true". Refuse to load it, or hide it from the save game list.

or show a screen "ironman game finished with result [failed/won] played jan1999 - nov1999, cureent funding=12123456, allpoints xcom points 45789, all points aliens 3467, "memorial/graph" button if i play ironman i want to have a "see what i achieved" look...
