Esports for xcom?

Just thinking about this.  Seems to work for some games that I wouldn't go near, but is it something we can look towards?  Maybe one day, they'll play xcom and brain wash a nation somewhere?

That would be one hell of a marathon. Unless we had a one-battle system, several people playing the same battle, with the one with most points being the winner...
