How to manufacture black ops auto-sniper tritanium ammo

Hello people

I've been playing this game for some time now and I usually just edit the save game "cough cheat cough" when I need some equipment or ammo, but recently I started a new non-cheat game and even though I'm somewhat advanced (alien invasion, etc) I can't manufacture "Black Ops Auto Sniper Tritanium ammo" (even though I can buy the weapon).

What do I need in order to do that? I would really like someone to explain to me how I can see for myself what it is that I am missing and that is preventing me from manufacturing that ammo.
Is it a specific structure? A technology? I know that I can lookup the 'tree thingy' option in the game's menu but I can't quite understand what is missing.

Please help.

You will need to research "Tritanium ammunition". You may already have that, as getting it is rather straightforward (else look at the tech tree viewer for missing dependencies). Then you need to research Black-Ops Auto Sniper Rifle Tritanium Ammo Manufactoring. Researching it requires that you have obtained Syndicate Operations, which you get from the Syndicate Floppy Disc.

I suppose you're missing or stuck somewhere in the syndicate arc. You can look in the tech tree viewer (among others) what you're missing to get it. In short: Osiron and Osiron Boss (or less preferably, Osiron Fixer).

Usually at this point (alien invasion) you could have or at least would like to have better weapons than Black-ops + tritanium ammo, but that can work too if necessary.

THanks, that was it. I was missing the Syndicate floppy disk, but I already got it at last.
