Changing Geoscape Button UI textures

I am trying to change the Geoscape UI buttons, as UFOpadia does not work with my mod, as their is no aliens, but whenever i set the GEOBOARD texture, only the globe control portion will change and nothing else.

What am I missing here?

What do you mean with, ufopedia doesn't work?

See the attached, this portion of the UI does not change when the GEOBOARD texture is edited. The blue area does change, but not the red area.

What do i need to do to change this, for example, i want UFOpadia to say "Archives", but when i use the attached texture, it does not change.
