Tech tree wiki?
« on: January 05, 2024, 12:02:03 am »
There is a great tech wiki for X-files https://xcf.trigramreactor.net/master/
Is there something like this for Piratez?
I know there is build-in tech view in the game, it's just I can understand from it: do I need to research all depends in order to get to the target tech or just some? Any tips?

Let's say I want to research "The Academy". I one wiki and see that this tech has a lot of entries in the "Depends on":
Academy Counsellor · Academy Engineer · Academy Esper · Academy Medic · Academy Nurse · Academy Pioneer · Academy Provost · Academy Scientist · Academy Student · Academy Thrall · Explorer · Osiron Security · Osiron Yeoman · Researcher
Of course we know that one entry is enough to research "The Academy". But with others tech it's not so obvious. Any tips?

I know only a little about Piratez, but that page is lying to you. Kinda. It's not 'depends on', it's 'unlocked by' that all these Academy gals and other people have. Ruleset reference on 'dependencies': "If the full list is researched, or if one of the projects on the list "unlocks" this one, it becomes available."

XCF wiki and the in-game TTV do make this distinction.
