Ctrl middle click on a unit does nothing for me.
Debug mode is on, and it says "clicked" and shows the coordinates, but I do not see information about that unit, nothing happens.

are you using OXCE?

are you using OXCE?
I think that no, I just installed OpenXcom nightly build.
Is that option not available in OpenXcom? because I've seen it mentioned also on https://www.ufopaedia.org/index.php/Hidden_Features_(OpenXcom) which seems to be about "OpenXcom"
(I reply in this forum because that is the forum thread I found searching for debug mode, didn't noticed it's in OXCE subforum)

Actually I am confused now, how OpenXcom and OXCE differ, it seems OXCE is a fork? but both are actively developed it seems.
I searched internet for few moments and I do not see the intruduction - what OXCE *is*, e.g. not explained in https://openxcom.org/forum/index.php/topic,6586.0.html   ???

Where is the introduction page of OXCE atually?
If they are on-purpose different, than is one a "superset" of the other? and if yes, then wouldn't it be better to develop one fork only?
If I am going for "playing close to the original DOS game but with a non-sucking interface and without some glitches" then "just" OpenXCom is the right choice?

I don't see it there.

OpenXcom is not actively developed.
Barring few exceptions, there hasn't been any new features developed in OpenXcom for years.

That's up to you to decide... in my opinion, both are good, OXCE is subjectively(!) better.

(apologies for the necrothreading. Can a mod pin this thread please?)

Something to add, implemented in recent OXCE updates:

- At the base, on the craft screen, crew selection is also possible from the armor screen with CTRL+click

- Sorting in Sell and Transfer GUIs: Use hotkeys while selecting something from a combobox on the top left
  ctrl: by total size desc
  shift+ctrl: by unit size desc
  alt: by total value/price/cost desc
  shift+alt: by unit value/price/cost desc
  nothing: by listOrder asc

I discovered another very useful interface trick. Did not saw it in any docs.

In the screen "Select Squad for CRAFT" there is "Sort by..." combobox. Shift+click on its items sorts agents in reverse order.
Very useful if you want to place your best men close to the exit.
