Yeah sounds great. You can have 2 kinds of ponys. The main Ponys from the cartoon and the generic green shirt ponys to lead the way :) Everyone gains EXP as normal. You'll start with 2 randomly chosen main Ponys and a couple of Green Shirts that can be renamed but can never move up the chain of command. Only the main "hero" ponys can move up. If a hero pony dies, the dead pony comes back to life after a month with magical tears or she can stay dead, but if you're aiming to make this game for kids, go with magic. Every month or so, a new Pony from the main series will join the fight with you.

I don't watch the cartoon series so I wouldn't know what else to add :)

I'd also like to see the moon revolving around the Earth in Geoscape. Maybe make the whole background revolve slowly too as you're turning the world! That would be sweeeeet!

About the Moon base, sorry for going off topic :) but one last thing. After beating it, I'd like it if you can click on the moon from the Geoscape and it'll take you to the expensive Moon base >) It'll be a little more expensive than a normal base.

Last one for sure. You won't know about the Moon base until you interrogate an Ethereal Commander. An Ethereal Base on the dark side of the Moon would be so cool :) and only the high command Ethereal know about it.

Xenonauts is busy getting to Beta, so I doubt they have IndieDB on mind right now, because it hasn't been posted on the forums yet. This great event is about a week long so we'll see. Shhhh, don't remind them.

I hope UFO reaches the next top list! I really love how the game is looking so far! You control a secret organization?! Heeeell yeeeaaaah!!

Anyways, My vote goes to UFO over Xenonauts because UFO is open-source and free for the world to play! I love how Xenonauts is looking but they don't need attention because KS already funded them, not to mention pre-orders continuously being sold, they're fine. UFO all the way!
