Have you tried latest Version?

I have made an update, which should be able of processing 40k, at least simple cheat mode...
Have managed to open it up, thanks for the fast response  ;D but initially, I don't see any changes to the save game. But maybe it's certain things that don't have support. Cool mod and good work on future works!
Just went into the advanced mode and works as far as I can tell, so great mod :)

I have tried and unfortunately unsucceeded, but obviously, this wasn't made for OXCE nor that mod so it's understandable. still a good idea for those who can't be bothered opening up notepad constantly  ;D

Haven't seen anything about the 5th playable faction, just thought id say that the mechanicus seems like a cool idea for the last faction. I could see their whole strongpoint being mechs n advanced weaponry

Sounds like you're in extreme early game, chaos starts to rise around april. You can graph scout for chaos activity before you get good radar coverage.

Finally, chaos guard missions are optional, and orks in early game are only relevant if they're doing terror missions. Rest are optional. A few extra ork outposts in early game is actually a good thing for later on.

Not sure if this is the place to ask, but is there a way to adjust the frequency of certain missions? all I get is imperial guard and orks, with the occasional aircraft. I'm stuck in a bit of a loop where I need better gear to survive imp/ork missions but never get said missions, apart from when the stars align and a comet passes over the earth. is there a way to decrease the spawn rate of the imp/ork crafts or increase the normal chaos marine missions?

I can't reproduce the error you're seeing on my end. The file certainly exists in the mod, and it launches and displays fine for me. Try re-installing both OXCE and the mod?

not sure what to do, I have no savegame, downloaded the most recent version with cutscenes and tried to open with openxcom extended version 6.7.2
