How about possibility to see which aliens in the alien containment?
Maybe it possible to make a button "Alien Containment" and show pictures of aliens inside with small description like "Reaper", "Floater-Medic"

How about national identification of soldiers? Maybe it possible to add in soldiers stats flag to show where from this soldier? Ivan - Russian for example and etc.

winterheart already mentioned the option. Just change your game shortcut so that it runs
"c:\somewhere\openxcom\openxcom.exe -user D:\openxcom\user -config  D:\openxcom\config"
Then every file written by the game will be in D:\openxcom
OK, but it's look like hidden options :)

that's why my user folder is on my D drive.

All corpses look the same and it's a little bit annoying.
Maybe possible to mirror or rotate sprites of dead alien bodies for diversity.

You know, OS has way more I/O-operations to disk C than just one game. But OpenXcom offers you additional option - IRONMAN™ mode! With this mode write operations will be fewer as possible!

But seriously, openxcom has option --user, which can redefine user's home to another folder.
I know that OS always write-read something to disc C :)
Don't know about command-line options...

Just because of my disc C - it's SSD and it's have a limited (as i heard) write cycles.

Play nightly and everything will be OK.
Or just look at changelog of nightly builds and think how many bugs/errors/fixes happens since june 2014 till now.

When i kill floater and game shows death animation in the middle of animation looks like floater move one position left then come back and die :)

I played a game for a long time in version 1.0 and I have no elerium to research.
Use Nightlies builds from DOWNLOAD section
It is much better than old 1.0 version because hundreds of errors fixed (in compare with 1.0)

Ah that might have been the source of confusion. The screens  you've posted do not show those soldiers. Which future research list are you referring to?
Yes, in that moment there is no alien soldiers. Later i capture some alien soldiers and they are always ready for research :)

I am not sure what you mean with this sentence. Are you asking if our orbs can tell you it will become available in the future as research item?
Floater soldiers, sectoid soldiers available in the future as research item. But they can't tell anything and their race is researched.
Why i can see alien soldiers in future research list?
